iEMS

Since 2011, iEMS has been a leading Australian provider of Specialist Emergency Medicine Services.

Ohh - and we also arrange Poison Permits!

About iEMS

iEMS provide 24 hour access to emergency medicine specialists; evidence based clinical practice guidelines; poison permits and most importantly we provide assurance that your existing medical team can provide world class care - wherever the patient may be.

iEMS support mining, heavy industry, private Ambulance providers along with Community and Professional Sports Clubs!

Emergency sports medicine

iEMS has taken what we have learnt about emergency Telehealth and combined this with our love of sport.

iEMS can provide your club or team with realtime access to Emergency Specialists while the game is still underway!

This allows your club to reach out for assistance, whenever you have a player take the field.

We don’t replace 000 - they are hero’s - we are here for when the player may not need that response, while you are waiting for them to get there, or the most common - the ‘in-between cases’.

24 hour clinical escalation

Our sites enjoy complete access to emergency medicine specialists - wherever and whenever they need it!

Clinical Practice Guidelines

We provide tiered guidelines from First Responders through to Intensive Care Paramedics

Poison Permits

We hold, or help you to obtain a poison permit in any State or Territory.

We have robust systems to make sure the site is compliant with all relevant law.

Audit service

We provide a clinical audit service. This is part of our standard offering to existing clients or an adhoc service to new friends.

Have you had a clinical incident and need it reviewed? Talk to us!

Emergency Sports Medicine

iEMS provides Sports Clubs / Teams with instant access to Emergency Medicine Specialists.

We assist your sports trainers or medical crew to assess a player and can issue electronic prescriptions, requests for scans or other specialist referrals - on the day.

Concussion assessment

iEMS can complete initial concussion assessments with the player and on site medics. We do this remotely via video with the player.

Using evidence based assessments such as the SCAT6 criteria - iEMS Doctors can definitively diagnose concussion or clear the player for a return to play.

If concussion is confirmed on the day of play, iEMS can coordinate the reassessed of the player and if cleared to return, complete any documentation required by the specific sporting code.
